Inspired by the set design of the recent Wuthering Heights adaptation.

One detail that stayed with me was Catherine’s room imagined as skin threaded with veins. That unsettling image became the starting point for this small stitched study.

The grave becomes something bodily, with vein-like stitching across its surface and heather turned blood red, leaning into a sense of corporeal gothic.

Hand embroidered on natural calico and presented in a 3.5” oval hoop. This is a listing for a made to order item, please allow up to 7 days for your piece to be stitched and posted.
